I had a little nip around TK Maxx yesterday lunch time, I went in to look for some cushions to compliment some other new cushions which I got at the weekend (I’ll include those at the end too!), and also a look for some pretty items to refresh my living room decor with and use for setting blog photos – but I couldn’t find anything that ticked my boxes, yet I still walked away with.
White Moleskine Notebook – £7.99
I’ve always wanted a Moleskine but have been reluctant to pay their normally high price tag. I wanted a more handbag friendly notepad to carry around with me for blog ideas as others I have are much chunkier.
Yes to Carrots & Blueberry Wipes- £2.99 Each
I used to love the yes to cucumber wipes, so decided to give the carrot and blueberry versions a go. I don’t use these religiously to take off my makeup, but do like them as a freshen up before putting on lotions and potions if I’ve taken off my makeup a long time before, and they’re always handy for one night away when I can’t be bothered to take micellar water and cotton pads!
Replica British Tourism Posters – £4.99 for a set of 8
Both me and my boyfriend like the style of these posters, and have collected a few already on our travels to different places as momentos, I don’t think that we will use all of these as it might be a bit OTT, but we do have a gallery wall going in our hallway/up our stairs and these will fit perfectly. We’ve definitely paid more for just one of these which is also a lot worse quality. £4.99 for 8 is a great price, I’m sure we can use the rest as gifts!
Hyacinth Weave Basket – £6.99
I’ve been wanting a little basket for under my dressing table to keep my hair tools neat and tidy, and this is the perfect size to keep my current favorites in – currently just my GHD’s and Label.M Hairdryer.
Malini Cushions – £14.99 Each (not TK Maxx from Downtown)
I’ve been wanting to redo all our sofa cushions from pretty much when we bought them as I’d never been the biggest fan. Now I’m looking for 2 plain beigey ones and a bright plain blue one to compliment these in a similar set up to here – just refreshing the 2 in the middle which are getting a bit worse for wear. These were a very decent price compared to others I’d seen in Laura Ashley for £50 each! This brand isn’t very easy to get hold of online unfortunately – I’ve had a look to try and get some to match these!
What do you think of the items I picked up?
