Beauty Lust List

I’m desperately trying to keep using up products from my stash, but there’s so many things popping up on blogs/youtube in the world of beauty that I am desperate to try!

CoverFX Custom Cover Drops – £38

I first heard about this foundation from Tati over on GlamLifeGuru a couple of months back now, and I didn’t think it was possible to actually get it in the UK until the weekend as I was online window shopping on the Beauty Bay.  This is mega pricey, which makes me reluctant to purchase, as unlike the US we can’t return cosmetics for not being right in the UK, so I don’t want to make the mistake of ordering the wrong shade! You can use this product as a standalone foundation, mix with other foundations to increase the coverage or change the shade. Every picture I’ve seen of this looks flawless on the skin, and I think it would suit my skin type well! I never end up anywhere near a Harvey Nichols, which is where I think they are stocked in store in the UK – I will at least get myself colour matched for when I may buy online!

Kiko Longlasting Eyeshadow Sticks – £6.80

I already own one of these in Golden Brown which I purchased when I was in London and now find myself reaching for it every day. This works great as a quick all over eye colour for a quick “I should have really left the house 10 minutes a go and I’m really late for work” look, and it also works great as a base to layer other eyeshadows onto and either way of wearing, I find that these don’t budge all day. I want to get a couple of different shades, particularly a gold, a darker brown and an ivory shade – to keep using in the same way which I am now. I’m heading to London a couple of times in the next couple of months to see Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swizzle, and hope to pop into the Kiko Shop off Oxford Street (again), as you have to order over £25 of product to purchase online with Kiko!

Nars Creamy Concealer – £22

I try to avoid looking at posts for this, as I’m not used to splashing the cash on concealer, normally opting for Collection’s 24 Hour Concealer at 3.99 or recently Essence’s All About Matt at 2.99. The more I try to avoid reading about it, the more it seems to pop up in my feed, and the better it seems to sound! I think I will be giving this ago – but again is something that I want to be at a nars counter for to get colour matched, as I’ve never tried any NARS base products before, and again, don’t want to waste my money on a product. I think I will have to wait on this until I go to London in 6 weeks or so, as we don’t have a NARS counter anywhere near.

A England Polishes – £6.95 (from Nail Polish Direct)

I was in awe of A England’s Princess Sabra when I purchased it in a blog sale, and doing some more online window shopping on Nail Polish direct shows me that they have some polishes in stock that I’ve been eyeing up, for quite some time. One in particular I need is Tristam, but it’s the one which isn’t in stock – I will be placing an order when it’s back in! You only have to google one swatch of these, and you’ll see why they’re on my list to get, they don’t look anything particularly out of the ordinary here! But promise me you’ll google if you haven’t heard or seen this brand before.

If you’ve tried anything above, let me know your thoughts on it, or something else you’d recommend instead if you thought it wasn’t up to scratch!

Great post! If you have the time, I’d be forever grateful if you could fill in the short questionnaire on my blog – it’s to help me set up a beauty storage business, so answers from other beauty lovers would be so appreciated!

Nars Creamy Concealer is my fave! It’s lightweight but the coverage is great for me. It’s lasted me a long time too so it’s well worth the price. 🙂
