I can’t resist sharing when there’s a really decent freebie with a magazine! I’m currently staycationing in Yorkshire and forgot to bring any skincare other than a cleanser with me.
Spotting that June 2015’s instyle magazine – has a 10ml sample size of the Clinique smart custom repair serum.
I’m not normally the biggest fan of Clinique products as I often think they are over-rated for the price, but it will at least help for a few days until I get home. £3.99 for this months issue, the serums sample size translates to £11 so good if your a clinique fan or have been thinking of trying something new – you can give this a go at a fraction of the cost.

Ugh, that’s one thing that UK / Asian magazines do so well – offer actual SAMPLES of products. In North America, I’ve that they don’t have this practice as much – most you will get is a foil packette or a coupon. Not the same as getting a tube or a jar of something. My friend uses this serum and she quite likes it. Hope you do too!
You normally get both with higher end mags – as well as that there was a perfume, make up and body lotion sample in side! I’d trade it for the U.S. System of people able to return cosmetics, we can’t do that 🙁
True! I think it’s crappy of big corps to not accept cosmetics returns. It’s not like Sephora and other places are re-selling that stuff, they policy is that they are discarded. Just a sketchy practice in the UK… just mean the big corps don’t have to deal with as much write-offs, ie more profit for them. It’s poor customer service.
