My Current Everyday Makeup

I’ve not done a post on my every day make up before, I’ve changed up a few products with others in my collection, and a picked up a few new ones over the past few weeks so thought it was time to share my current go-to everyday makeup!

1. Laura Mercier Foundation Primer

A good foundation primer that isn’t silicone based, which I find refreshing! It feels light on the skin, but does defiantely help foundation last all day.

2. My Little Beauty Teint De Peche

Good at evening out pigmentation and providing a smooth and soft base alongside the Laura Mercier Foundation Primer.

3. Korres Ginger & Vitamins Foundation

At the moment I’m loving a light-medium coverage when it comes to foundation for the everyday, which this definitely delivers, it is build-able too, but I tend to swap to other foundations when I want a heavier coverage.

4. Korres Wild Rose Compact Powder

I’ve just started using this as I’ve just finished my previous well loved Rimmel Stay Matte, I’ve gone through 10 or so of these over 3 years, but I fancied giving something else a go. I don’t find that it keeps oil at bay as well as Rimmel Stay Matte,  but I’ve only used it a handful of times so far, so opinions kept under wraps for now.

5. Estee Lauder Signature Blush in Peach Nuance

Sadly this was limited edition and I’ve just hit pan on it 🙁 I don’t like my blush to be over the top, and whilst build-able – it gives a subtle wash of colour, which is blendable and easy to work with.

6. Sleek Contour Kit in Light

This is a recent addition to my collection, I like my face to still look like my face, so tend to go for subtle colour. This one in retrospect is a little too light as it barely shows up, whilst it does look quite dark in the pan. I like this so I think I will pick this up in medium, or possibly even dark over the next few months as when it hopefully gets warmer, and I pick up a tan, I think this will be hidden. I use the highlighter in this across the top of my cheekbones and over my brow bone, it’s subtle which I like.

7. Kiko Eyeshadow Stick in Golden Brown

I picked this up a few weeks ago when I went to London, and I have pretty much used it every day since, it’s good to use as a base (hense none of my usual Urban Decay primer potion which would normally be featured), or for a super quick I’m really late for work look I just sweep this over the lids and blend out with my finger, once set this lasts all day with good pigmentation and no creasing.

8. YSL Eyeshadow Palette in Ombre Brown

I saw a recent review/tutorial from Pixiwoo which featured a YSL palette with 10 shades in which was very similar to this palette which has laid long neglected in my collection. This is old – I bought this when I was in sixth form (at least 6 years ago – maybe 7), and no my eyes haven’t fell out. They don’t make this exact palette any more, but there is something similar still available, the palette just seems to . I’ve been using this in conjunction with my Kiko Eyeshadow stick, with the light shades in the inner corners, with the darker shades through the creases. I was a bit confused before how to use the terracotta coloured shades as they’re very orangey, but are a great way to warm up the crease, watching the Pixiwoo tutorial definitely helped give me ideas of how I can use all the shades.

9. Maybelline Gel Eyeliner in Black

By far my favourite gel eyeliner that I’ve tried, amazing pigmentation, easy to apply and lasts all day. 10/10.

10. My Little Beauty Soin et Volume Mascara

Reunited with my favourite mascara I’ve tried! My Little Beauty kindly sent me this as they don’t ship to the UK currently after I queried how I could buy it,  as I had received this in one of My Little Boxes and fell in love! It’s a brissle brush, that’s not to big and easy to control, but the formulation is what makes this last all day with no flaking or transfer, but offers a lot of volume

11. NARS Lipgloss in Bad Education

I’m not a big lipgloss wearer, but this one is my favourite of the bunch! I swap my lip colours up every day, and tend to have different ones I reach for depending on weather and outfit. This is a very wearable red, it has an even coverage – but isn’t fully opaque and is slightly sheer which make it easy to wear.
