OPI French Quarter For Your Thoughts – Swatch and Review

OPI French Quarter For Your Thoughts – Swatch and Review

This has been a long neglected nail polish in my collection, as I’m certain I’ve had it for several years and never even tried it! OPI French Quarter For Your Thoughts came out with the Touring America collection which was back in 2011. Not trying it for so long turns out to have been an error in judgement as I’ve very quickly fallen in love with this polish.

OPI French Quarter For Your Thoughts is a pretty mid grey with a taupe undertone which for a grey adds a bit of warmth and feels more elegant than a cooler tone, it’s not too dark and not too pale, I added an accent nail of OPI My Voice Is A Little Norse which is a very similar taupey grey shade with holographic glitter.

I adore OPI French Quarter For Your Thoughts, it feels like a very chic and classy colour. 2 coats of this and it was nice and opaque. It does have a nice glossy finish, but I chose this manicure to try out a gelly manicure (Gel base and top coats with normal polish layered between) for the first time, so does have a super glossy gel like look and I love it, I might start doing this more often – more effort and time spent on nails, but make them last longer so I have to do it less frequently.
