Laura Mercier Radiance Foundation Primer – A sample sized primer which I received in a beauty box last year, this lasted such a long time, a tiny amount of this goes a long way. The radiance primer is coloured which helps even out skin tone before foundation, and helps make the skin glow.
Repurchase? I’ve found others that I like better, but I would happily use if I received it again.
Rimmel BB Cream Sample – I think this came in a glossybox if I remember correctly, again a little of this goes a long way too, but unfortunately I just didn’t like it. Gave decent enough coverage, but I didn’t find this lasted very well and clung to any areas where my skin was slightly dry.
Repurchase?: No
Benefit High Beam Sample – This was from a magazine freebie in Cosmo years ago, and it just laid untouched in my stash, this has taken me about a year to use up, using frequently although not everyday, I can’t get the last little bit of this out. It’s okay, but not great, I prefer a powder highlighter personally, I didnt find this too easy to blend out.
Repurchase?: No
So Susan Luminizer – Another Glossybox product, this isn’t quite empty but the lid has cracked so when I use now liquid oozes everywhere, I’m not such a big fan of this product that I feel like I need to create such a mess to use it everytime. This was okay, but no so susan product is worth what they charge for it in my opinion. Good to mix with foundation to create a more dewy radiant look, or can be used as a liquid highlighter as it blends out well with a synthetic brush.
Repurchase? No
Montagne Jeunesse Black Seaweed Peel Off Mask – This is tomorrows Face Mask Friday post so you’ll have to wait and see how I liked it! I really wanted to put this in the bin, rather than keep til next month, so had to include it.
Repurchase?: Not telling!
Montagne Jeunesse Cucumber Peel Off Mask – Full review of this was done here, I said in my review that it was like your teenage girls night in product, for 99p you couldn’t complain that it didn’t provide me with no skin benefits, but equally it provided me with no skin benefits.
Repurchase? No
Lancome Juicy Tube Lipgloss in Melon – This colour looks awful, and whilst looking murky and beige, but applied pretty much clear – but it just evened out tone on the lips. Once upon a time I used to love this, I haven’t used this in a long time and I can just see it’s going a bit… gross, so it’s time to go.
Repurchase? No
Collection Fast Stroke Eyeliner – I got this in the Superdrug Glossybox last year, and the formula of this is good, it doesn’t budge all day, but the brush is what lets it down for me, it’s too thick and stiff so getting a smooth line is difficult. I got fed up of trying to tolerate it as it was taking too long so whilst this isn’t empty I did persevere with it for 4-5 months before I’ve given up!
Repurchase: No
CID Mascara – This came with a magazine when I went to holiday in October, it was awful, I think it was meant to be lengthening, but all the writing has rubbed off so I can’t remember, and it was just rubbish!
Repurchase? No
Caudalie Serum – I don’t have a lot to say about this, it was too small a sample to see if it really did anything to my skin, as it only lasted 2-3 uses.
Repurchase? Not without more research/review reading! But currently not in the market for a serum
Dr Lipp Nipple Balm for Lips – I got this in a birchbox and I went to pull it out of my collection and it’s gone off. But this was a really nice lip balm which kind of reminded me of Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream.
Repurchase? No, I have other products which I can use up first
Crabtree and Evelyn Somerset Meadow Hand Cream – A very nourishing hand cream that smelt very floral and summery.
Repurchase? No I still have 2 in my collection to use up, but I would be happy to see this appear in my collection again.
Visa Perfume Sample – Smelt awful, the day I wore this to work I heard someone say something smells weird, it was when I walked in the room – I promise it was just the perfume though!
Repurchase?: No!
Bee Kind Body Lotion – A very nice and nourishing body lotion, it didn’t have much of a scent which was great.
Repurchase? I don’t need any more body lotion I still have another years worth to get through in my stash, but I have found another product which I like more, so wouldn’t repurchase anyway.
Melvita Pulpe de Rose Moisturiser – I picked this in Love Me Beauty Box for February, I’ve used this everyday in the morning before make up and on several evenings too, so this little tube has lasted a surprisingly long time. I liked this, I thought it did a good job, and found it good for under makeup as it wasn’t too heavy.
Repurchase? Same as the above with not needing anything as my stash will keep me going, but I think I would consider it if not!
I feel like I’ve got to the end of a big batch of products, and I’m starting afresh with a lot of things, so maybe April’s won’t be as big, but I’m hoping I’m still being as successful at clearing out my big stash!
